The car is a Miles ZX40XS fully electric car. We bought it at MC Electric Vehicles in Seattle in 2008, and use it to drive to all the places we teach. We converted it to Lithium batteries in 2013.

It has a range of about 35 miles in hilly Bellevue, and goes 35 miles per hour. It is great for driving the kids to school and bus stops, and for doing errands around town.
